As we witness the advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications by companies of all sizes and sectors, the need for standardization and regulation to ensure its effective and responsible use also arises.
The internationally certifiable standard ISO/IEC 42001, launched in 2023, was developed to meet this need, mitigating risks and assisting in establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving an AI management system within an organization. It also provides guidance on ethical issues involving AI systems.
In this training, we will examine the best practices and guidelines, as indicated by the standard, for managing risks, support, operation, and performance of AI systems. The course consists of 2 modules. In the first, we address the fundamentals of an AI management system (AIMS), and in the second, we discuss guidelines for its implementation.
