As we witness the advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications by companies of different sizes and sectors, the need for standardization and regulation also arises to ensure its effective and responsible use.

The international certifiable standard ISO/IEC 42001, released in 2023, was developed to meet this need, mitigating risks and helping to establish, implement, maintain and continuously improve an AI management system in the context of an organization. It also guides on ethical issues surrounding AI systems.

In this training, we will see the best practices and guidelines, as indicated by the standard to manage risks, support, operation and performance of AI systems. The course consists of 2 modules. In the first, we address the fundamentals of an AI management system (AIMS), and in the second, we discuss the guidelines for its implementation.
